In this role, you will focus on accelerating customer success in viral vector production, mRNA and oligonucleotide development, and next-generation biologics manufacturing. Your expertise will help expand the adoption of integrated solutions across critical workflows—from upstream to downstream processing.
What You’ll Do
- Lead commercial engagement for advanced therapy applications, including viral vectors, plasmid DNA, exosomes, and synthetic nucleic acids, with a strong grasp of associated development and manufacturing challenges.
- Grow revenue in your territory by identifying new opportunities, driving Design-In projects, and embedding Cytiva technologies into customer pipelines.
- Collaborate with Field Application Specialists to conduct on-site evaluations, deliver technical training, and clearly communicate the advantages of our platforms.
- Support marketing initiatives by identifying key scientific events and regional congresses to generate qualified leads and strengthen market presence.
- Maintain accurate sales pipelines in SFDC, tracking MQLs, Design-In progress, and opportunities in alignment with defined playbooks.
- Work closely with commercial teams and Product Management to shape deal strategies, gather customer insights, and influence product development.
- Promote cross-modality solutions including cell culture media, bioreactors, filtration systems, chromatography platforms, and analytical technologies to address end-to-end workflow needs.
What You Bring
- A degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven background in bioprocessing, cell and gene therapy, or advanced therapy commercialization, with experience in technical sales or customer-facing application support.
- Hands-on knowledge of viral vector, nucleic acid, or cell-based manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as SFDC for managing opportunities and technical projects.
- Experience supporting customer evaluations and technology adoption in regulated environments.
- Willingness to travel 40–50% within Germany, including overnight trips, and possession of a valid driver’s license.
Preferred Background
- Experience selling integrated solutions across upstream, downstream, and nucleic acid manufacturing workflows.
- Exposure to customers in clinical or commercial-stage advanced therapy development.
