Sardina Systems is hiring a Business Development Manager to own the end-to-end sales process, from identifying new opportunities to closing deals. You will be responsible for building Sardina's presence in Jakarta, Indonesia, leveraging a deep understanding of our products to relentlessly pursue enterprise growth.
What You'll Do
- Identify and qualify sales opportunities in enterprise accounts through detailed research and data preparation.
- Research potential customers to thoroughly understand their needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing partners.
- Create content for market and target group analysis, presenting results in Keynote/PowerPoint and Numbers/Excel.
- Identify and learn market and competitor trends.
- Maintain a strong level of knowledge about our products and services.
- Handle the creation of relevant content for new Channel Partners.
What We're Looking For
- 1–5 years of experience in business development or sales.
- Practical understanding of cloud computing, particularly in the OpenStack, Kubernetes, VMware, Nutanix, and Ceph markets.
- Experience in a fast-paced growth environment or an entrepreneurial/start-up setting.
- Experience creating partnerships and managing sales channels.
- Excellent people and relationship-building skills across all seniority levels.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and logical prioritization skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team, with a driven, relentless, and proven closer mentality.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Knowledge of the local Jakarta market, ideally in a high-growth environment, with a strong network and direct connections.
- Passionate about technology, particularly cloud computing.
- Fluent in English.
