Regal Rexnord is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and increase market share for assigned product categories within the Industrial Components Division, focusing on Belted Drives. In this role, you will partner in developing sales strategies and coordinate objectives across sales, product management, and marketing.
What You'll Do
- Drive revenue growth and increased share for assigned product categories and markets.
- Partner in developing and implementing sales strategies.
- Coordinate the development of sales objectives, strategies, advertising, and promotional programs and ensure their execution.
- Grow belted drive revenue by 10% by the end of year two.
- Recapture 5% in lost sales from current Regal Rexnord Accounts in belt drives and castings.
- Achieve 5% growth in wallet share of existing accounts.
- Identify 5 new prospects with a minimum sales revenue target of $150k.
- Build internal relationships with cross functional support teams (Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Product Management).
- Identify account owners supporting the top 10 declining accounts and build working relationships within 12 months.
- Partner with sales professionals to create action plans to recapture sales.
- Spend 1 hour per week interacting with the engineering group to understand capabilities and relay customer needs.
- Meet key supply chain team members within three months to establish contacts for resolving delivery issues.
- Create SIOP process/restocking parameters to support key customers.
- Share voice of customer data with Product Management to highlight innovation opportunities or product gaps.
- Visit 15 OEMs annually.
- Visit 15 distributors annually.
- Deliver a monthly report and update with findings.
- Deliver a bi-monthly opportunity development update.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in marketing, engineering, or industrial sales; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able/willing to travel to meet customers – up to 50% travel.
Nice to Have
- 10+ years of experience in industrial product sales.
- 2+ years of experience working with assigned product category.
Team & Environment
You will partner closely with account representatives in Industrial Equipment, Product Management, and Strategic Marketing teams.
