Jerry.ai is hiring a Business Development Lead to drive growth on the supply side of our insurance marketplace. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, pitching, and onboarding new insurance carrier partners, expanding the value we offer to customers.
What You'll Do
- Think creatively to solve complex and strategically significant business problems.
- Be both strategic and hands-on: build the plan, collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute it, and own the results.
- Source and close partnerships with insurance carriers to grow the marketplace's supply side.
- Develop tailored pitches and solutions for partners who may not immediately see the value.
- Represent Jerry in external meetings with professionalism, clarity, and insight.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, strategy, or similar roles.
- Proven history of driving and closing complex, high-value deals.
- Exceptional drive and intellectual curiosity.
- World-class communication and influencing skills, able to navigate senior executive conversations with ease and precision.
- An inherently creative and entrepreneurial spirit, consistently finding breakthrough solutions.
- Unwavering sense of ownership and urgency, thriving in ambiguity.
Nice to Have
- Experience ideally in a high-growth, startup environment or in consulting.
