Porch Group, Inc. is hiring a Business Development Executive, Data Sales to drive revenue by selling data licenses to large brands, marketing agencies, and multi-client organizations. This role focuses on understanding client data needs, presenting tailored licensing solutions, and negotiating contracts to exceed sales targets.
What You'll Do
- Deliver revenue by identifying, pursuing, and closing new, qualified client relationships using a data-centric solution-based sales approach.
- Find and engage prospects, present solutions, write proposals, negotiate deal points, and close business.
- Create and establish trusted partner client relationships.
- Provide professional after-sales support and transition accounts to a client relationship team.
- Maintain contact with clients to understand and support their ongoing objectives.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual budget goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of potential and closed business, communications, and other necessary reports.
- Travel to visit prospects, clients, and conferences (10-20% of time possible).
- Be responsible for assigned monthly recurring revenue and new business quotas.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a data sales executive or account manager within the direct marketing industry.
- Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles.
- Familiarity with all forms of marketing data and agility in creating client solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to build relationships.
- Organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong business acumen.
- Enthusiastic and passionate attitude.
- A college degree or a minimum of 5 years in direct marketing.
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Comfort with making outbound prospect calls.

- Compensation: $67,500 - $90,000 Annually
