As a Category Insights Consultant, you’ll play a key role in transforming retail data into strategic guidance for leading consumer goods brands. Working within the wiqConsumer division, you’ll use advanced data tools like Q.Checkout and Q.Scan to uncover patterns in shopper behavior, pricing effectiveness, promotional performance, and product range dynamics.

This includes leading analytical projects from start to finish—from defining objectives and processing large-scale transaction data to interpreting results and presenting strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
You’ll balance independent analysis with cross-functional collaboration, drawing on expertise across teams to deliver comprehensive solutions. Success means not only meeting project requirements but exceeding client expectations by anticipating needs and identifying untapped opportunities.

- You’re comfortable managing multiple priorities and adapting to evolving client demands in fast-paced environments.
- You communicate clearly and confidently, able to present complex information in a way that drives decision-making.
- Familiarity with FMCG or retail operations is an advantage, as is curiosity about AI and emerging technologies in analytics.
- You value collaboration and are motivated by solving problems in partnership with others.
