HandyTube Corporation is hiring a Business Development Director for our Aerospace segment. Reporting to the VP/Business Segment Leader – Aerospace, you will be responsible for targeting and cultivating new relationships in the Aerospace market while growing revenue within existing accounts. This role requires a ‘hunter’ mindset and a disciplined, process-oriented approach to sales execution.
What You'll Do
- Promote Safety as the Number 1 priority of HandyTube Corporation.
- Build, develop, and drive the commercial strategy focused on aligning customers with an optimized sales plan.
- Establish the long-term growth plan for the Aerospace market.
- Establish a disciplined, high-velocity, and process-oriented sales culture focused on business growth.
- Collaborate effectively with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and the rest of the organization to align growth initiatives and improve customer KPIs.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of customers’ business models and challenges to win new growth opportunities.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through establishing a consistent communication plan.
- Provide support to HTC Quality to facilitate quick responses to customer issues, product trials, and data collection.
- Liaise between HTC and the customer to ensure seamless communication throughout the RMA and RCA process.
- Facilitate customer visits to HTC and provide plant tours to secure additional business.
- Work with HTC supply chain partners to develop special processes and expand value-added services offerings.
What We're Looking For
- An undergraduate degree in engineering is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of sales experience, ideally on a global scale.
- Strong leadership, expert influencer, time management, and process-oriented skills with experience building strong external customer relationships.
- Strong acumen in the Aerospace market.
- Ability to establish credibility quickly and interface effectively at all organizational levels, across geographies and cultures.
- Collaborative, passionate and customer focused.
- Strong drive and work ethic with strategic and analytic capabilities.
- Financial acumen and the ability to interpret and effectively communicate pricing data.
- Experience in complex, highly dynamic environments where learning quickly and contributing immediately is required.
- A strategic thinker who understands key industry trends and can drive execution of strategies.
- Creates and executes daily standard work processes, sets priorities, and regularly exceeds goals.
- Highly self-motivated and driven, with an intense focus on results.
- A personality that thrives on challenge with superb business judgment.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%, both domestically and internationally.

- An MBA is preferred – not required.
Team & Environment
You will report directly to the VP/Business Segment Leader – Aerospace (BSL-A). The BSL-A reports to the President of HandyTube.
