Braze is seeking a Business Development & Capture Lead to own the full capture lifecycle for Department of Defense and Air Force opportunities. You will create and execute winning strategies, shape growth initiatives, and influence national-level contracts in a remote-first environment.
What You'll Do
- Lead the full capture lifecycle – from discovery to award – creating and executing strategies that win.
- Partner directly with the executive team to shape growth initiatives and influence national-level contracts.
- Develop win themes, orchestrate proposals, and build strategic alliances.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with DoD and Air Force decision-makers to shape acquisition requirements.
- Represent the company at customer sessions, industry events, and internal strategy offsites.
- Initially operate as a solo capture lead, with future responsibility to help build and mentor the next generation of the BD organization.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in federal business development or capture management.
- Proven track record leading multi-million-dollar pursuits from concept through award.
- Deep familiarity with Air Force acquisition and the broader DoD ecosystem.
- Comfortable discussing technical solutions such as DevSecOps, AI/ML, cloud architecture, and cybersecurity.
- Experienced with CRM and pipeline tools like Monday.com, Deltek GovWin, or Salesforce.
- Self-starter who values ownership, speed, and measurable results.
- Eligible for DoD Security Clearance.
