Learnlight is hiring a Business Development Associate, Global Strategic Accounts to drive growth across our portfolio of multinational enterprise clients. This remote role focuses on a consultative, account-based approach to uncover expansion opportunities, generate insight-driven engagement, and support long-term commercial strategy.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute targeted account development strategies within assigned global strategic accounts to consistently create high-quality, high-impact opportunities.
- Build a deep understanding of each account’s organizational structure, business priorities, and international footprint to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
- Contribute to the overall global pipeline by driving thoughtful prospecting into priority regions, business units, and senior stakeholder groups.
- Partner with the Head of Global Strategic Account Program to define targeted account plans.
- Conduct structured account research to map organizational hierarchies and identify expansion paths.
- Design and execute multi-touch, insight-led engagement plans for each priority account.
- Respond to and qualify inbound inquiries from global prospects.
- Engage prospects with regionally and functionally relevant insights and content.
- Conduct in-depth discovery conversations to uncover strategic priorities and pain points.
- Book and prepare high-quality strategic meetings with clearly articulated value hypotheses.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Customer Success for seamless knowledge transfer and follow-up.
- Continuously explore new global business opportunities through multi-market industry analysis.
- Based on performance, gradually take ownership of a defined pipeline within select global accounts.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in business development, sales, or account development within enterprise or complex accounts.
- Advanced English communication skills.
- Strong communication and executive presence with the ability to engage senior stakeholders across multiple regions.
- Strategic, curious, and analytical mindset, able to connect market insights with client needs.
- Highly organized and methodical, with strong CRM proficiency.
- Motivated by commercial outcomes and accountable for driving impact across global territories.
- Collaborative approach, working fluidly with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing in a global context.
- Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
Nice to Have
- EdTech, SaaS, or B2B experience.
- Additional languages are a strong advantage.
- Microsoft Dynamics CRM experience.
- Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and account-based engagement tools.
