ADVFN is hiring a Business Development Associate (BDA) to drive growth within the UK capital markets. This is a high-activity outbound sales role focused on generating qualified opportunities across the UK small/mid-cap ecosystem, including AIM/Main Market issuers, brokers, advisers, and wealth brands.
What You'll Do
- Relentlessly prospect via cold calling, cold emailing, and LinkedIn outreach to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
- Build and manage a target list of UK issuers and capital markets stakeholders, focusing on CEO, CFO, IR, and Marketing decision-makers.
- Consistently generate qualified meetings through outbound sequences and follow-up campaigns.
- Break through gatekeepers and engage senior stakeholders with confidence and professionalism.
- Use modern tools and AI-assisted workflows to accelerate research, personalisation, and outreach efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of activity, notes, and pipeline stages in Salesforce.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on messaging, targeting, and positioning to convert opportunities into revenue.
- Attend industry events or networking opportunities occasionally.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a high-volume outbound sales or business development role.
