Sutherland Global Services is hiring a Business Analyst to support our Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform. In this role, you will focus on platform maintenance, data analysis, reporting, and process improvement, ensuring compliance with IT policies and contributing to technical design.
What You'll Do
- Maintain all products and services managed by the IAM platform.
- Write and produce reports using tools like SQL.
- Perform data analysis and produce summary reports with actionable insights.
- Create dashboards and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Contribute to technical design discussions and provide conceptual solutions.
- Develop a wide range of documentation, including process documents and functional specifications.
- Communicate and train others on documentation content as necessary.
- Proactively conduct regular and ad-hoc analysis of the IAM system, documentation, processes, and data.
- Investigate IT procedures, standards, and guidelines.
- Instigate and drive IAM process enhancements.
- Conduct analysis to ensure IAM policies and standards are being followed.
- Promote and enforce IT risk policies.
- Train and mentor newly appointed team members and team leaders.
- Initiate necessary training for the team and ensure the exchange of knowledge.
- Provide 100% timely reporting to the client and management.
What We're Looking For
- Understanding of application platform integration and transitions to facilitate seamless business processes.
- Proven ability to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements effectively.
- Ability to create clear and concise functional and non-functional specifications.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to address complex business challenges.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with user acceptance testing and experience in process implementation and improvement.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile.
- Proficiency in using PowerPoint and Excel for data visualization and analysis.
- Fluency in verbal and written communication in English.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using ticketing tools, with a preference for Service Now and JIRA.
- Experience with IAM platforms is required.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Quest One Identity would be considered an advantage.
- Advanced Excel skills would be highly beneficial.
- SQL knowledge would be a valuable asset.
