U-Haul is seeking a Business Analyst for the Wealth Management team within IT. In this role, you will be a key contributor implementing new solutions to serve wealth client needs and driving the development and delivery of the Wealth product roadmap.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to Wealth product roadmap development and delivery to achieve strategic business objectives.
- Engage business and technology partners to define and document requirements, features, or user stories.
- Proactively identify and mitigate related dependencies or risks.
- Provide input on solution alternatives and prioritization to support delivering the highest business value.
- Coordinate with teammates to iterate on feature development, testing, and readiness.
- Develop test plans and support testing to ensure technical development enables the business needs.
- Capture business requirements and translate them into easy-to-implement technical solutions.
- Create and update project artifacts such as task boards, use cases, application documentation, and technical writeups.
- Proactively seek challenges to identify and resolve potential issues with new development or ongoing operational support.
- Identify and implement efficiencies to optimize capabilities.
- Conduct or facilitate training and information sharing sessions with supporting documentation.
- Handle additional responsibilities related to the role as required.
What We're Looking For
- Proven capabilities in three or more of these areas: Applications Development, Business Process/Workflow Management, Enterprise Architecture, Project Management, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure, or Systems Support.
- Successful results with midsized to large projects and process improvements from initiation through implementation.
- Data modeling and design understanding, including conceptual and logical modeling.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strength with analytical, data, problem solving, and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and quality.
- Proficient with Microsoft, process/workflow, and collaboration tools.
- 2-5 years or more in Financial Services, preferably within investment management or private equity.
Nice to Have
- Background in Financial Services and/or financial applications.
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
- Experience with Agile software development, traditional project management, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with systems integrations and data mapping preferred.
- Bachelor of Arts (B.A) or Science (B.S), or equivalent experience.

- Compensation range: $78,000.00 - $132,000.00
