Barclays is looking for a Business Analyst Lead at the Vice President level to support the organization in achieving its strategic objectives. In this role, you will identify business requirements and solutions that address problems and opportunities, contributing to strategy and driving change.
What You'll Do
- Identify and analyze business problems and client requirements that require change.
- Develop business requirements and propose solutions to address business problems and opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.
- Support the creation of business cases and conduct feasibility studies for proposed solutions.
- Create operational and process design to ensure solutions are delivered within agreed scope.
- Support change management activities and report on project progress to ensure delivery on time and within budget.
- Contribute to strategy, make recommendations for change, and plan resources, budgets, and policies.
- Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management.
- Manage and mitigate risks in support of the control and governance agenda.
- Build and maintain trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement.
- Gather and document business requirements through workshops and design thinking.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
- Perform data analysis to support decision making.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum qualification of B.E. / B. Tech or equivalent.
- Working experience of Business Analysis practices within Agile and Waterfall frameworks.
- Excellent command of English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective and efficient stakeholder management.
- A proven track record in the field of Business Analysis or Project Management.
- Good level of experience in hosting workshops based on design thinking techniques.
- Experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and functional design.
- Experience writing business and technical documentation.
- Experience writing test cases, test case execution, and data analysis.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with a workflow application and business rules engine.
- Awareness of using MS Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint, and SQL.
- Prior experience as a Business Analyst in the financial domain, especially in customer Onboarding, AML, or KYC.
