ASE Global Automotive Solutions, part of the Lighthouse Software Group within Valsoft, is hiring a Business Analyst III. In this role, you will provide critical support by resolving end-user issues through problem diagnosis and solution guidance. You will also be responsible for conducting software demonstrations and assisting with system environment setup.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate the service request life cycle, including customer responses, business requirements, technical spec reviews, and monitoring system integration and user acceptance testing.
- Analyze program policies and procedures to determine their effect on automated systems.
- Coordinate and analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing systems.
- Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors on projects, defining and evaluating their work.
- Identify opportunities for improving business processes through automation and assist in developing proposals for new systems.
- Identify potential project risks and design mitigation strategies.
- Review complex project deliverables such as charters, design documentation, and test plans.
- Consult on application analysis, troubleshoot system problems, and implement solutions.
- Provide complex quality assurance consultation for projects and initiatives.
- Develop training curriculum and conduct formal training sessions for assigned systems.
- Develop or review test cases, process change requests, and manage project scope, acceptance, and deployment.
What We're Looking For
- A 4-year college degree.
- 4-5 years of experience in business analysis work.
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle and systems development life cycle concepts.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and coordination.
- Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Skill in business analysis methodologies.
- Skill in analyzing and evaluating complex IT applications, policies, and issues.
- Skill in developing creative, workable solutions to complex problems.
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical information including regulations, policies, and system specifications.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
- Ability to translate user/business needs into technical requirements.
- Ability to communicate technical instructions to system users.
- Ability to analyze, evaluate, and integrate business rules into system requirements.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.
- Ability to supervise the work of others.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Legally authorized to work in the US.

Benefits & Compensation
- Salary range: $78,000 - $85,000.
