Responsibilities
- Analyze and understand the German regulatory requirements:
- Requirements from the EU VAT in the Digital Age (ViDA) initiative and national mandates (e.g., XRechnung, ZUGFeRD)
- Follow and participate in forums shaping regulation (employer representation lobby’s/tax authority communications/government thinktanks/…) to understand the last clarifications and represent AtlasCopco’s interest
- Manage the project:
- Set up internal project governance/steering (SteerCo)
- Build & align a project plan with subsequent deliverables (budget, costing/recharge, documentation, risks & issues) and report progress
- Perform fit-gap analysis with all entities
- Design optimal electronic invoicing architecture, integrating with ERP and third-party platforms (with a bias for the AC group e-invoice solution)
- Lead E2E delivery of the designed solution
- Test/validate implemented solution with signoff from business
- Review data quality and apply cleansing actions where necessary
- Act as the main liaison between stakeholders and ensure timely communication with all stakeholders (internal & external) - finance teams, legal/compliance, IT developers, vendors, and tax authorities
- Support potential future rollouts in other EU countries
Requirements
- Experience in finance digitalization, e-invoicing, ERP project management, or B2B process transformation.
- Knowledge of (German) e-invoicing regulations and electronic data exchange standards (e.g., XML, XRechnung, ZUGFeRD, PEPPOL).
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, etc.) and e-invoicing platforms/providers.
- Fluent in English and German and (written and spoken).
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex projects
