About the Role

Atlas Copco is looking for a Business Analyst to join our team, focusing on the analysis of German regulatory requirements and the implementation of electronic invoicing solutions. This role is key within the global Atlas Copco Group, a technology and market leader, where you will drive a critical finance digitalization initiative.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze and understand German regulatory requirements, including the EU VAT in the Digital Age (ViDA) initiative and national mandates like XRechnung and ZUGFeRD.
  • Follow and participate in regulatory forums to represent Atlas Copco's interests and stay updated on the latest clarifications.
  • Set up internal project governance and steering committees.
  • Build, align, and manage a comprehensive project plan, including budget, costing, documentation, and risk reporting.
  • Perform fit-gap analysis across all entities.
  • Design the optimal electronic invoicing architecture, integrating with ERP systems and third-party platforms, with a bias for Atlas Copco's group solution.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of the designed solution.
  • Test and validate the implemented solution, securing business signoff.
  • Review data quality and apply cleansing actions where necessary.
  • Act as the main liaison between all stakeholders, ensuring timely communication with finance, legal/compliance, IT developers, vendors, and tax authorities.
  • Support potential future rollouts in other EU countries.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in finance digitalization, e-invoicing, ERP project management, or B2B process transformation.
  • Knowledge of German e-invoicing regulations and electronic data exchange standards like XML, XRechnung, ZUGFeRD, and PEPPOL.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or MS Dynamics and e-invoicing platforms/providers.
  • Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex projects.

Nice to Have

  • Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum.
