Waystar is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst for our Colorado team. Reporting to the Manager of Client Insights and Analytics, you will contribute to operational and strategic analysis, data integrity initiatives, and client collaboration efforts.
What You'll Do
- Perform calculations, track cash flows, and analyze risk exposure for portfolio products.
- Prepare and display charts, graphs, and tables reflecting monthly, quarterly, and yearly performance.
- Maintain and organize all performance-related data.
- Gather, examine, and analyze large sets of data from multiple sources to define and diagnose patterns for manipulation.
- Monitor existing performance and portfolio products.
- Utilize and create SQL coding to query and manipulate complex data, automating routine tasks and data reporting.
- Work with clients to understand their data and how it translates into a common model that drives business improvement.
- Streamline data reporting to support current growth and improve processes.
- Provide analytical support to the Client Success Manager to identify opportunities for driving client performance.
- Verify, monitor, and optimize data exchanges between Waystar and our clients.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or another related quantitative field.
- 1+ years of experience performing data analysis in a business environment.
- Proven experience managing data, including analysis and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with the challenges of data extraction and manipulation of large data sets.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
Nice to Have
- Experience using SQL Server for complex projects and tasks.
- Healthcare industry experience.
