Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is hiring a Building Engineer for the Old Forester Distillery in Louisville, KY. You will be responsible for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing critical facility equipment with a strong focus on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and Central Utility Plant operations.
What You'll Do
- Safely operate the facility in accordance with all applicable government and regulatory requirements.
- Perform maintenance and monitor repairs to Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems.
- Maintain HVAC systems and associated equipment through cleaning, inspecting, and changing parts.
- Record readings and make adjustments to ensure proper operation of equipment.
- Monitor the quality and pricing of maintenance work performed by outside contractors.
- Review monthly client service request summaries to pinpoint and correct recurrent operational problems.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist the site Facility Management team with emergency situations such as fire alarms, chemical spills, and hazardous conditions.
What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or GED.
- 4+ years of experience in the building maintenance industry including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and central utility plant operations.
- A valid state-issued driver’s license.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Nice to Have
- 2+ years of trade school or college.
