The Brydon Group is selecting its next cohort of six executives for the CEO-in-Residence (CIR) Program. In this unique role, you will be backed to become the CEO of a private equity-owned platform. You'll undergo intensive training, source and acquire a small business, and then operate and grow that industry-leading platform with capital and support.
What You'll Do
- Undergo intensive training focused on sourcing, CRM best practices, and due diligence.
- Begin reaching out to business owners within the first week to source acquisition targets.
- Focus sourcing efforts in a preferred geographic area.
- Work towards being under a Letter of Intent (LOI) or in the CEO seat of an acquired business within a year.
- Build and grow your acquired industry-leading platform with private equity capital and support.
What We're Looking For
- A mid-career executive with 5-12 years of experience post-business school or equivalent.
- Significant operating and/or industry experience.
- A thesis-based acquisition approach focused on a specific sub-industry or area of interest.
Nice to Have
- Experience as a Partner at a consulting firm with deep understanding of growth levers in a sub-industry.
- Experience working on a PE-backed roll-up.
- Experience running a P&L or as a General Manager in a vertical market.
Team & Environment
You will join a cohort of 6 executives per year, working closely with the Brydon team and other CIRs for support and collaboration.

Work Mode
This role operates on a hybrid schedule. Key locations include the Caribbean for the training kickoff, the Bahamas for the cohort start, and various US locations for quarterly offsites.
