We are looking for skilled professionals to support project-based broadcast systems integration across multiple U.S. locations in 2026. This role centers on the physical setup and configuration of broadcast and audiovisual infrastructure, with an emphasis on accuracy, safety, and compliance with technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and install equipment racks, monitors, projectors, and mounting hardware with precision.
- Run, terminate, and organize various cable types, including HDSDI, audio, control, antenna, and speaker lines.
- Terminate and install connectors such as 12G BNC, mini-BNC, and DIN on coaxial cables, using components from Belden, Canare, Kings, and Neutrik.
- Construct wire harnesses and perform metal fabrication tasks as needed.
- Test system components to verify performance and adherence to design requirements.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities and equipment inventory.
- Follow established safety protocols and contribute to a secure work environment.
- Coordinate regularly with on-site supervisors and project leads to ensure alignment on quality and deliverables.
Qualifications
- At least one year of hands-on experience in broadcast or AV system installations.
- Proven ability in rack building, cable management, and connector termination.
- Familiarity with cable gauges from 14 to 23 AWG and their appropriate applications.
- Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel to project sites across designated metropolitan areas.
Work Structure
This is temporary, project-driven work with no guarantee of continuous hours. Assignments will be offered on an as-needed basis throughout 2026 in cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas-Fort Worth, Nashville, and Miami. Work schedules and location demands will vary by project.
Compensation
Hourly pay ranges from $40 to $60, based on experience level. Earnings depend on project availability and assigned hours. This role does not include equity or standard full-time benefits.
