Star Pubs, part of HEINEKEN UK, is hiring a Brewing Manager to be responsible for the safety, quality, and compliance of production at our Laško facility. You will manage and optimize the entire production process, ensuring we meet our volume and quality targets while leading and developing your team.
What You'll Do
- Ensure safety, quality, and compliance by implementing and upholding safety, food safety, quality, and sustainability standards.
- Guarantee all production processes comply with internal standards and external legislation.
- Manage and optimize the production process by planning, leading, and monitoring daily operations.
- Achieve planned production volumes and quality standards consistently.
- Implement process improvements and efficient working methods to drive optimization.
- Lead and develop the team by organizing work within the production department.
- Manage available resources effectively and ensure strong cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum higher or university education in a technical or natural sciences field.
- 3–5 years of experience in a technological field combined with people management.
- Proven experience with team management, establishing effective processes, and achieving results.
- Knowledge of TPM, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Active working knowledge of the English language.
Nice to Have
- Experience from a production, quality, biotechnology, or FMCG environment.
