Wayflyer is looking for a Brand Art Director to evolve and own our global brand identity. This role blends hands-on design, conceptual thinking, and creative leadership to drive high-quality storytelling across marketing campaigns, product launches, and internal initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Own and evolve the Wayflyer visual language across channels including paid media, email, web, video, social, and events.
- Lead concepting and execution of integrated campaigns that deliver brand lift and measurable performance.
- Translate complex ideas into clear, compelling storytelling balancing creative vision with strategic business goals.
- Drive end-to-end design processes from brief development and moodboarding to comps, prototyping, production, and final QA.
- Mentor and guide external collaborators and internal partners to ensure high design standards and brand alignment.
- Push creative boundaries with conceptual ideas that feel fresh, culturally relevant, bold, yet grounded in clarity.
- Champion a culture of feedback, iteration, and continuous improvement.
- Translate complexity into simple, elegant solutions that scale across user types and business models.
- Work across systems and features to help scale quality and coherence through shared components and principles.
What We're Looking For
- Six or more years of experience in brand art direction or communications design.
- Portfolio showing exceptional craft, visual storytelling, and deep understanding of brand systems and campaign design.
- Demonstrated ability to take full ownership of creative projects from blank page to final execution.
- Experience designing for both brand awareness and performance marketing including social, display, lifecycle, email, push, and landing pages.
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong presentation and communication skills to sell ideas and get stakeholder alignment.
- A passion for designing within constraints and turning complexity into simplicity.
- A point of view on what makes modern brands great and curiosity to evolve with culture, technology, and design trends.
Nice to Have
- Comfort adapting design to different audiences such as executives, investors, and customers.
- Hands-on skills in animation.
- Familiarity with accessibility best practices.
- Background in fast-moving organizations/environments.
- Motion or video fundamentals.
