Responsibilities
- Own Bolt’s social presence across X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging platforms — from strategy through execution
- Produce launch videos for major product releases — including writing scripts, directing screen recordings, editing or managing editors, and delivering story-driven content
- Build and grow social channels from the ground up to better reflect the existing user base and product love
- Shape and protect Bolt’s brand voice across all public-facing content
- Ensure consistency in tone and messaging across tweets, launch videos, and partner co-marketing
- Develop a compounding content engine that builds audience, trust, and brand equity over time
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and leadership teams to translate technical product launches into resonant content for developers, product managers, and business leaders
- Work with external creators, influencers, and partners on co-marketing content and amplification
- Track performance across channels and use data to inform content decisions with a growth mindset, not vanity metrics
Requirements
- Proven experience building social channels or content programs, ideally in dev tools, SaaS, or tech
- Demonstrated ability to grow accounts or create content that performed well
- Strong writing skills across formats — copy, scripts, tweets, long-form
- Core writing skill — not something delegated
- Strong video production skills — capable of shooting, editing, or directing with minimal resources to produce polished content
- Good taste — able to distinguish between generic marketing content and authentic, connecting content
- Understanding of developer and technical audiences — able to speak their language and earn credibility
- Ability to think holistically about brand — integrating social, video, launches, and brand into one cohesive story
- Fast execution — comfortable with weekly shipping, quick turnarounds, and iterating in public
- Opinionated about quality — willing to push back and bring ideas forward
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills — required for collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and customers
Nice to Have
- Experience at a high-growth startup with multiple responsibilities across social, video, and brand
- Personal experience growing a YouTube channel, X account, or LinkedIn presence to meaningful scale
- Understanding of the AI and developer tools landscape with strong opinions
- Video editing skills in Final Cut, Premiere, or similar
- Motion graphics skills
- Experience working directly with founders or C-suite on content and messaging
