Paired is looking for a Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to fill a dual-role position split between financial management and general administrative support. You will play a key role in maintaining our financial health while keeping daily operations running smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Manage accounts receivable, including invoice tracking and payment follow-ups.
- Make 30–50 outbound calls per week to customers with past-due invoices.
- Handle payment reminders and address basic invoice questions professionally.
- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks.
- Process payments and reconcile accounts.
- Generate financial reports and statements as needed.
- Provide general administrative assistance to support daily business operations.
- Maintain organized filing systems, both digital and physical.
- Handle data entry and spreadsheet management.
- Coordinate communications between team members and customers.
- Support additional operational tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For
- 1–2 years of bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets).
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable making customer-facing phone calls.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting fundamentals.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
Nice to Have
- QuickBooks experience (certification is a plus).
- Previous experience in home service businesses or similar industries.
- CPA certification or similar accounting credentials.
- Familiarity with accounts receivable processes and collections.
