Responsibilities
- Record daily business transactions such as sales, purchases, receipts, and payments using accounting software.
- Classify financial entries correctly according to accounting standards.
- Support the reconciliation of bank statements with internal financial data.
- Detect and escalate inconsistencies in financial records.
- Process vendor invoices and manage payment schedules.
- Monitor client accounts and follow up on overdue payments.
- Contribute to the creation of financial statements, including profit and loss summaries and balance sheets.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Monitor and classify company expenditures accurately.
- Generate expense reports and ensure supporting documents are archived.
- Assist in compiling tax filings and maintaining adherence to regional tax laws.
- Keep documentation audit-ready with proper organization and retention.
- Preserve well-structured financial files and records.
- Support the transition to digital recordkeeping and maintain current backups.
- Provide support to senior accounting staff and financial supervisors.
- Address financial questions from internal teams promptly and accurately.
