About the Role
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst will lead client care in a clinic setting by designing, implementing, and evaluating individualized behavior intervention plans. This role involves direct supervision of behavior technicians, collaboration with families, and ongoing assessment to ensure effective outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Design individualized behavior intervention programs based on assessments
- Conduct regular direct observations of client behavior in the clinic
- Supervise and train behavior technicians to ensure protocol fidelity
- Collaborate with caregivers to support skill generalization
- Monitor client progress using data-driven methods
- Revise treatment plans based on ongoing evaluation
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyses
- Write detailed progress reports for stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with ethical standards set by the BACB
- Participate in team meetings to coordinate care
- Support onboarding and training of new clinical staff
- Maintain accurate and timely client documentation
- Communicate client outcomes to referring professionals
- Implement skill acquisition programs using ABA principles
- Address challenging behaviors with evidence-based strategies
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary providers when applicable
- Promote a safe and structured learning environment
- Model effective teaching techniques for support staff
- Respond to client needs with clinical flexibility
- Uphold confidentiality in all client interactions
- Stay current with developments in ABA practice
- Assist in quality improvement initiatives
- Contribute to program development within the clinic
- Ensure adherence to agency policies and procedures
- Support transitions between treatment phases
