About the Role
The BCBA will assess client needs, design individualized behavior plans, supervise therapy implementation, and train caregivers to support consistent progress across home environments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments for clients with developmental challenges
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Deliver direct in-home therapy services to clients as needed
- Supervise and train behavior technicians in proper implementation of intervention strategies
- Monitor client progress through data collection and analysis
- Adjust treatment plans based on ongoing performance and goals
- Collaborate with families to ensure consistency across settings
- Provide caregiver training to support skill generalization
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards set by certifying bodies
- Coordinate with schools and other service providers when appropriate
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews
- Contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives
- Stay current with best practices in applied behavior analysis
- Support onboarding and training of new clinical staff
Nice to Have
- Experience with early intervention programs
- Familiarity with IEP processes and school collaboration
- Training in crisis prevention or de-escalation techniques
- Bilingual communication skills
- Experience using electronic health record systems
