Responsibilities
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans
- Conduct functional behavior assessments
- Train staff and caregivers on behavior management techniques
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of intervention plans
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress
- Provide supervision and training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
- Participate in regular team meetings and case discussions
- Stay current with the latest research and best practices in applied behavior analysis
- Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and professional standards
- Provide direct behavioral services to clients
- Develop and implement data collection systems
- Conduct behavioral skills training
- Provide consultation and support to families and caregivers
- Participate in the development of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct social skills training groups
- Provide crisis intervention and management
- Develop and implement token economy systems
- Conduct functional communication training
- Provide support and training to school staff
- Conduct parent training and support groups
- Develop and implement behavior support plans for individuals with autism
- Conduct staff training on behavior management techniques
- Provide support and training to residential staff
