Medline Industries, LP is hiring a Biomedical Equipment Specialist to provide essential field support for Neptune medical equipment. In this role, you will travel extensively between hospitals, solving complex technical problems while maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal partners.
What You'll Do
- Travel 100% of the time between hospitals and surgery centers based on assigned service requests.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, replacing mechanical components according to established protocols.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and testing to validate proper equipment functionality.
- Build positive, lasting relationships with Medline customers, peers, and internal partners.
- Document all service activity and results to maintain accurate quality records.
- Analyze, review, and recommend technological solutions and innovative techniques to reduce expenses and improve cost structure without sacrificing quality.
What We're Looking For
- Associate’s degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics, or a related technical field.
- 1–3 years of experience servicing medical equipment in a healthcare or clinical setting.
- Proficiency in electronics, mechanical systems, and computer-based medical devices.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and safety protocols in healthcare environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move equipment and work in patient care areas as needed.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Willingness to spend most weekdays traveling.
