Responsibilities
- Configure, calibrate, and run various auxiliary binding machines equipped with multiple cutting units, control panels, or integrated components such as inkjet modules, mailing systems, case builders, and surface decoration tools
- Set up and manage automated bindery systems with multi-function stations, including powered cutters, collators, gatherers, folders, and speed binders, often linked electromechanically to form a complete finishing line
- Conduct safety checks on machinery and work areas to ensure compliance with operational standards
- Operate automatic adhesive binding systems (perfect binders) that process collated sheets or signatures through stages like vibration, milling, surface roughening, glue application, cover attachment, and stacking
- Perform adjustments to synchronize multiple workstations within a single machine for optimal performance
- Lead and supervise team members across all production phases
- Track and maintain quality standards, output volume, and operational efficiency
