Williams Lea by RRD is hiring a Bindery Apprentice

Full Training Provided! This is a 3rd shift position, 11pm-7am. with $2/hour shift differential. Regular progression increases and shift differential. Selected Candidates will be enrolled in our Bindery Apprentice Training program, where they are paired with a Trainer and learn how to set up and operate a designated piece of Bindery equipment. Work alongside the Operator, assisting with paper loading, and boxing product. Learn to set up and maintain major or complex binding equipment. Learn to read Job Tickets, which includes the instructions for the equipment, paper and quantity specs and post Bindery instruction. Learn to monitor equipment during operations to ensure tolerances are being maintained and how to make adjustments as necessary. Assist with daily maintenance duties such as cleaning machinery to remove paper dust and lint, check pumps and other operating parts, as needed. Under the direction of the operator, apply working knowledge assist in the set-up of more complicated binding machinery.
