Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled BIM Engineer to support major infrastructure projects focused on bridges and tunnels. In this role, you will develop and manage detailed 3D structural models using Autodesk Revit, ensuring accuracy and alignment with engineering and construction requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain 3D models for bridge components including decks, piers, abutments, and tunnel structures
- Design and deploy automated modeling processes using Dynamo and Python to improve efficiency and reduce errors
- Coordinate with civil, architectural, and MEP teams to resolve conflicts through clash detection in Navisworks or Revit
- Manage model data, version control, and deliverables within a Common Data Environment such as Autodesk Construction Cloud
- Ensure all modeling practices comply with ISO 19650 standards and project-specific BIM Execution Plans
- Generate 2D construction drawings, schedules, and annotations directly from 3D models
- Update models in response to design changes, RFIs, and engineering feedback
- Extract quantities and model data to support documentation and project reporting
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering and have 2–5 years of hands-on experience in structural BIM for bridge and tunnel projects. Proficiency in Revit is essential, with demonstrated experience in parametric modeling and automation tools like Dynamo.
You should have a solid understanding of structural reinforcement detailing, constructability principles, and multidisciplinary coordination. Familiarity with ISO 19650 standards and BIM execution workflows is required. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage large Revit models and standardized templates are critical.
Preferred candidates will hold Autodesk Revit Professional certification or an ISO 19650 practitioner credential.
