Solventum is hiring a Billing Verification Specialist II to ensure accurate invoicing and prompt payment by researching, analyzing, and resolving complex customer accounts receivable and order entry exceptions. You will work closely with internal departments and external healthcare providers, navigating contractual agreements and compliance requirements.
What You'll Do
- Review, analyze, and reconcile initial Accounts Receivable and Order Entry exceptions to ensure accurate invoicing and prompt payment.
- Perform extended resolution activities on complex exceptions and discrepancies, engaging with departments like Finance, National Contact Center, Contracts, and field staff.
- Facilitate high-volume, professional-level communications with internal and external contacts, ensuring compliance with federal credit guidelines and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
- Research and verify transactional information, including contractual stipulations, service dates, order entry details, purchase orders, and contract pricing.
- Practice continual autonomous decision-making based on understanding of various contractual pricing structures and compliance guidelines.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
- Two (2) years of experience with medical collections in a private, public, government, or military environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
