Grow Therapy is looking for a Billing Support Specialist who is passionate about improving the landscape for mental healthcare. This role directly enhances our billing operations to support sustainable expansion of access to care. You will manage all aspects of billing related to claim denials and resolutions.

What You'll Do

Troubleshoot and resolve issues clients and therapists raise via phone and live chat.
Dig deep into problems to identify root causes and collaborate with our product teams to improve the platform.
Assist and educate customers on the Grow Therapy platform, providing excellent service to clients and therapists.
Serve as the customer's go-to resource and passionate advocate, ensuring all users feel heard and supported.

What We're Looking For

One year of experience with insurance across multiple commercial and government payers.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, with ICD-10/CPT codes preferable in mental health.
Experience working within Claim MD or Availty verifying benefits, reading EOBs, and explaining benefits to patients.
Experience working within various payer portals.
Self-motivated, eager to learn, and comfortable with ambiguity and asynchronous communication.
Love for problem solving and natural curiosity, especially about health tech.
A work ethic defined by kindness and empathy, prioritizing customer experience.
Ability to work successfully independently and remotely, adapting well to changing priorities.
Comfort meeting quantitative metrics, including the number of conversations worked on per day.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup and excitement about contributing to our growth.

Nice to Have

Bonus points if bilingual, with Spanish preferred.
