OnlyExperts is looking for a Billing Specialist with direct U.S. accounting and billing experience to manage our end-to-end invoicing processes. You will be responsible for preparing accurate invoices, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining precise financial documentation to support revenue tracking.

What You'll Do

Prepare and issue accurate client invoices according to contract terms and company policies.
Manage the full billing cycle, including adjustments, credit memos, and supporting documentation.
Review timesheets, project costs, or service reports to validate billing calculations.
Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on outstanding invoices.
Coordinate with clients on billing inquiries, payment status, and resolving disputes.
Post payments and reconcile customer accounts within the accounting system.
Assist with collections activities to maintain healthy cash flow.
Reconcile billing records with accounting ledgers and support month-end closing.
Generate billing and receivable reports for management review.
Identify and resolve billing discrepancies proactively.
Work closely with finance, sales, and operations teams to improve billing workflows.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or accounting.
Proven experience working with U.S.-based companies or clients.
Strong understanding of U.S. billing practices, AR processes, and accounting standards.
High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple invoices, clients, and billing schedules simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Nice to Have

Experience working in remote or offshore finance teams supporting U.S. operations.
Experience with platforms like QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, Bill.com, Stripe, or Salesforce billing.
Experience in SaaS, professional services, or subscription-based billing environments.
Experience handling high-volume billing cycles.
