ICF is hiring a Billing Analyst to join our finance team. In this remote role, you will be responsible for preparing complex billings for customer submission, engaging in accounts receivable collections and analysis, and performing financial reconciliations. You'll collaborate closely with the Project Accounting team, Program Managers, Project Financial Controllers, and Contract Managers as part of our mission-driven work to improve lives.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and review monthly invoices according to company guidelines, utilizing financial reports to meet deliverable deadlines.
- Analyze unbilled receivables monthly against standard Costpoint reports.
- Research and resolve a variety of internal and external customer inquiries concerning billing status.
- Initiate communications to resolve billing discrepancies and collection issues with external and internal customers.
- Produce year-end indirect rate variance invoices.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of overall business-related experience.
- 3+ years of Contracts Billing experience, processing, and validating project invoices (e.g., Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus), including closeout bills and year-end indirect rate variance invoices.
- 3+ years of experience using Deltek Costpoint 7.
- 1+ year of experience with Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot table functions.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or 10 years of experience billing government contracts.
- Cognos reporting experience.
- Project Accounting, set up, and revenue recognition knowledge.
- Expertise in resolving the unbilled.
- The ability to process a high volume of invoices monthly.
