Role Overview
As a Billing Administrator, you will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and client satisfaction by managing billing cycles, collections, and commission processing for client accounts. You'll serve as a point of contact for payment inquiries, work to resolve account discrepancies, and ensure smooth communication between internal teams and external clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop collaborative relationships with sales, client success, and field leadership to support account resolution and clear communication.
- Respond to client inquiries via email and phone regarding billing statements, payment failures, and account adjustments.
- Assist clients in resolving declined payments or processing errors, helping to reduce overdue balances through practical solutions.
- Review aging reports regularly and initiate contact with clients to address outstanding invoices.
- Partner with accounting support to correct system issues, issue revised invoices, and update records when payment terms change.
- Share updates on account status, payment plans, and balances with internal stakeholders to maintain alignment.
- Support account closures by processing early termination agreements and following established collections protocols.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum of one year of experience in billing, accounting, commissions, or administrative support roles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a remote setting.
- Clear and professional communication skills in written and verbal formats.
- Comfort working with financial data, contract terms, and dispute resolution.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.

Compensation
