Longbridge Financial is hiring a Bilingual (French / English) Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this remote role, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, providing solutions and support directly from your home in Ontario.
What You'll Do
- Respond to customer inquiries via telephone, email, SMS, and chat to resolve problems.
- Receive and place telephone calls, which may require adapting from standard scripts.
- Answer questions, take orders, address service needs, and manage complaints.
- Maintain detailed, current knowledge of the company's and assigned clients' products.
- Analyze customer service needs for communication to other departments.
- Navigate a computerized data entry system and other relevant applications.
- Resolve basic or tier 1 payment and account requests, such as card activations and updates.
- Provide responses using basic user-friendly screens and established documentation.
- Enter required data into client-provided systems and databases.
- Determine basic reasons for customer issues using a client-provided decision tree.
- Escalate unresolved customer grievances to more experienced representatives or departments.
- Build foundational knowledge of products, policies, and procedures for a limited number of clients.
- Work assigned hours, which include mornings, afternoons, nights, and weekends in a 24/7 call center.
- Be on camera during scheduled work hours.
What We're Looking For
- A High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- At least 6 months of high-volume call center experience (onsite or remote) from within the last 2 years.
- Fluency in French & English, both written and oral.
- Must be permanently based in Ontario, Canada.
- Ability and flexibility to work all assigned shifts, including mornings, afternoons, nights, and weekends.
Nice to Have
- Banking experience.
Benefits & Compensation
- Hourly rate: $18.20 CAD.
