About the Role

Sutherland Global Services is looking for a Bilingual Customer Service Specialist fluent in both Spanish and English. In this role, you will be responsible for managing client accounts, including account handling, maintenance, collection, and liquidation for assigned portfolios. You will analyze accounts, communicate directly with customers, and negotiate arrangements.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze payment history and account notes, then clearly communicate account statuses to customers.
  • Recommend appropriate solutions by analyzing customer accounts and negotiating acceptable collection arrangements.
  • Promptly report and refer sensitive or complex issues to your Team Leader.
  • Document all activities in accordance with established procedures in a clear and concise manner.

What We're Looking For

  • A High School Diploma.
  • Fluent proficiency in both English and Spanish.
  • Ability to type a minimum of 30 WPM.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in the USA at the time of application and remain residing in the USA while working.

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in customer service, retail services, or a call contact environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform at a high level to support a high volume of inbound calls.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to maintain a calm, professional, and positive demeanor while handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
