Manulife Financial Corporation is hiring a Bilingual CPP Calculation Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Determine and input the CPP/QPP offset and adjusted long-term disability benefit in the Navigator system upon approval of disability or retirement benefits.
  • Compute and enter other deductions such as WSIB payments, rehabilitation earnings, and severance, then update the adjusted LTD benefit in Navigator.
  • Communicate overpayment amounts to plan members using clear verbal and written explanations.
  • Follow up with plan members and government bodies like Service Canada or Retraite Québec to recover overpayments and arrange feasible repayment plans when necessary.
  • Execute claim recovery processes within the Navigator platform.
  • Evaluate CPP/QPP denial letters to decide whether an appeal or reapplication is appropriate.
  • Assess whether engaging an external CPP Advocate is justified based on individual case circumstances.
  • Monitor and respond to inquiries through a shared email inbox on a rotating schedule.
  • Work closely with senior disability administrators and case management teams to improve financial performance.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with representatives at Service Canada and Retraite Québec to support efficient claim processing.
