RemoteVA PH is hiring a Bidding Writer Expert to lead our pursuit of US government contracts. In this role, you will identify opportunities and craft compelling, compliant bid proposals, primarily for services like apartment rentals and pest control. Your expertise will be crucial in securing new business through the government procurement process.
What You'll Do
- Identify and research US government contract opportunities for apartment rentals, pest control, and related services.
- Develop and write comprehensive, persuasive bid proposals aligned with solicitation requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and subject matter experts to gather necessary information.
- Review and analyze bid documents, including RFPs, RFQs, and ITBs.
- Ensure all submissions comply with US government regulations, guidelines, and deadlines.
- Maintain a database of past submissions, wins, and losses for reference and improvement.
- Conduct market research on industry trends and competitor strategies.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management on bid opportunities and progress.
- Follow up on submitted bids and coordinate with US government agencies as needed.
- Provide support and training to junior staff in bid writing and preparation.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, English, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in bid writing, proposal development, or government contracting.
- A proven track record of successful bid submissions and contract wins.
- Strong understanding of US government procurement processes and regulations.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, compelling proposals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- The ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the apartment rental or pest control industries.
- Knowledge of relevant software tools for bid management and submission.
- A professional certification in proposal management, such as APMP.
