Responsibilities
- Monitor and sustain BI systems to guarantee high performance and consistent availability.
- Investigate and resolve system incidents, data discrepancies, and application errors.
- Work closely with key business users to collect requirements and convert them into functional BI deliverables.
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models that meet business objectives.
- Deploy updates and improvements to BI tools in compliance with corporate standards.
- Safeguard data accuracy and security across all BI platforms and workflows.
- Engage in continuous improvement efforts to enhance BI processes and system efficiency.
- Manage and coordinate external service providers to ensure effective and efficient delivery.
- Oversee BI governance and manage demand for BI resources and capabilities.
- Gather, evaluate, and prioritize business requests for reports, dashboards, and data models.
- Ensure BI initiatives align with IT strategy, architecture, budget, and governance policies.
- Serve as the central coordination point between business stakeholders, the BI team, and external vendors or AMS providers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
- 3 to 8 years of professional experience in BI or related fields.
- Familiarity with the BW/4 platform for end-to-end system management.
- Experience with LSA++ data modeling techniques.
- Proficiency in ABAP for ETL processes.
- Knowledge of HANA ETL, including transformations and Calculation Views.
- Experience interfacing systems via OpenHub structures.
- Understanding of reporting layer components and architecture.
- Experience with automation and monitoring of process chains.
- Proficiency with AFO as the primary tool for accessing reporting data.
- Experience creating workbooks for specific business areas.
- Ability to access BEx queries directly for reporting purposes.
- Skill in using H游戏副本 Studio for data modeling tasks.
- Familiarity with Power BI as a reporting platform.
- Fluency in both English and Italian.
