Responsibilities
- Install, remove, and replace tires and tire/wheel assemblies.
- Load and unload tires to and from delivery trucks.
- Carry out tire repairs according to manufacturer and safety standards.
- Inspect tires and wheels following established protocols before and after servicing.
- Identify which tires can be repaired and perform those repairs.
- Examine service orders and coordinate tasks with team supervisors.
- Record all completed work accurately and in compliance with company policies.
- Operate heavy-duty tire servicing tools and machinery such as boom cranes, cribbing, jacks, compressors, and hydraulic and electric systems.
- Remove and reinstall wheels using lug wrenches and various hand and power tools.
- Mount and dismount off-the-road tires, including those on multi-piece rim assemblies.
- Respond to emergency roadside service requests during nights and weekends on a rotating schedule.
- Maintain the assigned service vehicle, ensuring it meets appearance and equipment standards.
- Adhere to all applicable OSHA safety regulations and job-specific safety protocols.
