About the Role
This role is responsible for overseeing benefits operations, assisting employees with enrollment and inquiries, maintaining benefits data, and ensuring adherence to regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Administer health, dental, vision, and life insurance programs
- Support open enrollment processes and employee onboarding for benefits
- Respond to employee questions about coverage, claims, and plan details
- Maintain accurate benefits records and update systems as needed
- Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to ensure data consistency
- Track and report on benefits utilization and participation metrics
- Assist with vendor management and contract documentation
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local benefits regulations
- Coordinate with third-party administrators and insurance providers
- Prepare materials for employee communications and benefits education
- Monitor changes in benefits laws and advise internal teams
- Conduct audits of benefits data for accuracy and completeness
- Support wellness program administration and reporting
- Manage leave of absence tracking in coordination with benefits
- Troubleshoot benefits-related issues and escalate when necessary
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices
- Assist in annual benefits review and renewal processes
- Ensure secure handling of sensitive employee information
- Develop and update documentation for benefits policies and procedures
- Contribute to HR initiatives that enhance employee experience
