About the Role
The Beauty Sales Consultant delivers a premium shopping experience by guiding customers in selecting beauty products, achieving sales goals, and ensuring store standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting skincare, makeup, and fragrance products based on individual needs
- Achieve personal and team sales targets through proactive engagement
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of beauty brands, ingredients, and trends
- Demonstrate products using samples and application techniques
- Organize and restock beauty displays to ensure visual appeal and availability
- Follow brand-specific merchandising guidelines for all beauty sections
- Respond to customer inquiries with accurate and helpful information
- Process transactions using point-of-sale systems accurately
- Report inventory discrepancies and low stock levels promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and backroom
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
- Adhere to company policies on safety, security, and compliance
- Handle customer feedback and resolve concerns professionally
- Promote loyalty programs and special offers to shoppers
- Support seasonal campaigns and product launches
- Ensure compliance with labeling and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with team members to support daily operations
- Uphold brand standards for customer experience
- Use communication tools to coordinate with supervisors and staff
- Follow loss prevention protocols and report suspicious activity
- Attend product training provided by vendors
- Track personal performance metrics and adjust approach as needed
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment
- Represent the beauty department during audits and inspections
- Support store events and promotional activities
