Teleflex Incorporated is hiring a Barrigel Procedural Specialist to lead clinical training and support for Barrigel product adoption. You will be responsible for facilitating comprehensive education for healthcare providers and sales teams on the use of Barrigel for perirectal spacing prior to radiation therapy.
What You'll Do
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert regarding Barrigel, rectal spacing, and radiotherapy within your sales area.
- Communicate closely with regional Area Director(s) and sales teams to coordinate and execute territory case coverage and HCP training.
- Consistently train, assess, and re-train Barrigel sales representatives on Barrigel injection technique.
- Support online training initiatives for customers as required.
- Proctor customer phantom training in coordination with Area Director prioritization and the Barrigel training curriculum.
- Attend and lead OR-based patient Barrigel cases for customers performing their first Barrigel injections as dictated by supervisor.
- Schedule and prioritize workflow in conjunction with the Head of Barrigel Development and Area Directors.
- Attain all necessary certifications to maintain consistent OR access.
- Develop and maintain expertise in radiotherapy and related imaging, with a specific focus on Transrectal Ultrasound (TRUS).
- Work strategically with regional Spacing Consultants to identify and build relationships with new targets to support same-site-sales growth.
- Follow all clinical reporting protocols required by Palette, FDA, or any other governing body.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Biology, a related scientific discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical training and/or sales experience within the global Healthcare industry.
- Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and synthesis skills.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to travel domestically up to 50%.
Nice to Have
- Ultrasound clinical or selling experience.
- Urology and/or Radiation Oncology medical device experience is strongly preferred.
- Significant experience working with a wide variety of ultrasound platforms.
- Familiarity with medical terminologies and imaging (Ultrasound, CT, MRI).
- Experience training or proctoring physicians and clinical staff on medical devices.
