Remote Recruitment is hiring a B2B Sales Executive for a relationship-led sales role focused on premium UK gifting and food products. Success in this position comes from building personal connections and managing margins with independent buyers at small to mid-sized UK retailers.

What You'll Do

  • Proactively manage and grow a portfolio of UK-based small to mid-sized B2B accounts.
  • Sell into garden centres, independent gift shops, speciality retailers, and regional stockists.
  • Conduct professional video calls and virtual meetings with UK buyers and owners.
  • Build long-term relationships through rapport-driven, consultative selling.
  • Manage outbound and inbound sales activity using a CRM system.
  • Follow up consistently with leads and existing customers via email and calls.
  • Confidently handle pricing, margins, and unit-level calculations.
  • Identify opportunities for repeat orders, upselling, and seasonal gifting ranges.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of pipelines, conversations, and deal stages.
  • Collaborate closely with the internal UK team to onboard and support accounts.
  • Represent the brand with confidence, warmth, and professionalism at all times.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven B2B sales experience selling food, gifting, FMCG, or speciality retail products.
  • Demonstrable experience selling directly into small to mid-sized UK retailers (e.g., gift shops, garden centers, lifestyle retailers).
  • Demonstrable experience selling into the UK market (UK buyers and decision-makers).
  • Experience managing relationship-led sales, not just transactional or high-volume deals.
  • Comfortable conducting video calls and virtual meetings with UK clients.
  • Strong written English, with the ability to write clear, confident, and persuasive sales emails.
  • Numerically confident — able to calculate unit pricing, margins, and case costs.
  • Hands-on experience using CRM systems for pipeline management and follow-ups.
  • Confident, personable, and skilled at building rapport and trust with smaller buyers.
  • Tenacious and self-motivated, with a clear understanding of commission-based sales.
  • Professional appearance and communication style suitable for UK retail customers.
