Graham is looking for a B-Pressure Hand Welder Journeyperson to join the maintenance team at Shell Scotford near Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. This is a temporary, full-time position on a 9/80 day schedule. No travel, living out allowance, or camp accommodations are provided.
What You'll Do
- Fuse metals skillfully using prescribed welding applications.
- Operate and understand the welding equipment for various procedures.
- Comprehend drawings, develop layout patterns, and calculate material quantities.
- Apply thorough knowledge of metals, arc electrodes, welding gases, and filler rods.
- Identify defective welds, determine the cause, and execute proper repairs.
- Perform mathematical calculations pertinent to the welding trade.
- Apply a working knowledge of the required codes.
- Coordinate effectively with other tradespeople in affiliated trades.
- Complete assigned tasks to the quality and production standards required by industry.
What We're Looking For
- CSTS-09 or CSTS-20 certification.
- Energy Safety Canada Approved Fall Protection.
- Energy Safety Canada Approved Confined Space Entry & Monitor.
- Energy Safety Canada Approved Elevated Work Platform.
- Current Mask Fit Test.
- Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test.
- Journeyman welding ticket (current and within 6 months).
- CWB - SMAW ticket (current and within 6 months).
- F3, F4 welding tickets (current and within 6 months).
- F6 GTAW Max welding ticket (current and within 6 months).
- F6, F5 - GTAW, SMAW welding tickets (current and within 6 months).
- A valid B-pressure ticket in the processes being used, if required.
- A valid CWB in the processes being used.
Team & Environment
You will be part of the Heartland Constructors maintenance team at Shell Scotford.

This role is fully onsite at Shell Scotford near Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta.
