Societe Generale is hiring an Azure Cloud Solution Architect to lead the migration of legacy applications to the Ayvens Azure tenant. You will ensure seamless transitions, architectural robustness, and alignment with our strategic cloud direction.
What You'll Do
- Lead the migration of legacy AWS or Azure applications, ensuring architectural robustness and compliance with governance and security standards.
- Design, review, and challenge the architecture of applications targeted for migration in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Act as the technical lead in defining best practices and cloud architecture standards aligned with the Group’s cloud strategy.
- Implement Azure infrastructure components directly, including network, compute, storage, and security services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Enterprise Architecture, Security, and Engineering to ensure policy compliance.
- Stay updated on Azure innovations and cloud industry trends, incorporating relevant advancements into architecture and processes.
- Support knowledge transfer and upskilling of internal teams on Azure technologies and migration best practices.
- Work closely with Engineering teams to understand application needs and constraints.
- Collaborate with the Ayvens Azure Design Authority to follow trust and control principles.
- Engage with project managers and stakeholders to align migration and operational activities.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Lead Cloud Engineer, Cloud Architect, or similar role with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Demonstrated track record managing complex cloud migration projects.
- Experience managing application migrations from unsecured cloud environments to secure, compliant cloud platforms.
- Experience working in agile environments and cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English written and spoken.
