Responsibilities
- Uphold strict safety standards during every shift and foster an uncompromising safety culture
- Adhere to daily procedures and track site metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Quickly gather, record, and relay mechanical or vehicle-related issues to engineering teams
- Work with engineers and colleagues to resolve escalated issues affecting operations
- Promote an inclusive and respectful workplace environment
- Guide autonomous vehicle operators through performance evaluations and on-vehicle observations as needed
- Use internal tools to continuously monitor vehicle health and status
- Ensure real-time oversight of all vehicles and operators during active service
- Engage with passengers as necessary during operations
- Execute incident response procedures and deliver timely, accurate communications
- Evaluate software updates with safety as the priority and provide detailed feedback
- Deliver training and certification for new operators using approved materials
- Coordinate with other locations to standardize practices and keep documentation current
- Serve as a representative during external visits, demonstrations, and informational sessions
- Travel to other locations for operational support, coverage, or training when required
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
