About the Role

The technician will handle site preparation, equipment installation, and system commissioning for automated solutions, working directly at customer facilities to ensure proper functionality and integration.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare client sites for automation system deployment
  • Install mechanical and electrical components according to specifications
  • Configure control systems and verify operational parameters
  • Conduct safety checks and compliance verification
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues during setup
  • Calibrate sensors and automated mechanisms
  • Document installation processes and deviations
  • Coordinate with engineering support for technical challenges
  • Verify network connectivity for control systems
  • Perform pre-operational tests on machinery
  • Follow lockout/tagout and safety protocols
  • Assemble modular automation units on-site
  • Inspect incoming equipment for damage or defects
  • Interface with customer personnel during deployment
  • Support commissioning and startup activities
  • Maintain tools and test equipment
  • Adhere to project timelines and site schedules
  • Report progress and issues to supervisors
  • Ensure proper grounding and power distribution
  • Validate system integration with existing infrastructure
  • Assist in developing site-specific installation procedures
  • Respond to equipment malfunctions during installation
  • Complete required training for new system models
  • Follow environmental, health, and safety standards
  • Provide feedback on installation challenges to design teams

Compensation
